What we do
We are Gunsmiths based in Cornwall that cover a large variety of gun work, from general repairs & servicing to full restorations and re-builds of shotguns & rifles. We will undertake all Section 1 & 2 gun work & all makes & models are catered for, we also repair air rifles both spring & PCP.
The Team

Ever since I was a boy, I found that I had a natural interest in mechanical things.This progressed through the years, due to living on a farm I learnt to weld, & re-built several tractors, along with repairs of farm machinery. This then led to tuning & building custom motorcycles. as Time progressed I was looking for an alternative to farming.I had a problem with one of my rifles & was recommended to a gunsmith, who sorted it out & while we were chatting I asked if he would consider me for an apprentice, he said he would! Thus starting my career as a gunsmith.I am time served at the bench in which I learnt the trade working on a large variety of shotguns and rifles with all sorts of breakages and malfunctions, covering most makes and models.

From an early age I have been immersed in field sports. Being lucky enough to spend my childhood on several large estates as a gamekeeper’s son. I established a passion and understanding for shooting, fishing and conservation. From this I was lucky enough to be exposed to a variety of shooting disciplines and the many types of sporting shotguns and rifles that are used. This sparked an interest in guns from an early age and wanting to pursue a career in Gunsmithing. I have served time at Westley Richards, Atkin, Grant and Lang, as well as working self employed in the trade. I have worked on a variety of makes, models and calibres, along with a broad range of knowledge on both traditional & modern techniques to repairing, restoring and building firearms.
